What is FlashBill and who is it for?
FlashBill is a personal finance app for iPhone and Android. It is for anyone who wants to know where their money goes, keep debts and cards in order, track what they lend and what they borrow, and split their money into budgets, buckets and savings goals.
Does FlashBill connect to my bank?
No. FlashBill does not connect to your bank or ask for your banking credentials: you log your transactions in seconds and the app does the math. It has no way to move money out of any of your accounts.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Amounts, descriptions, notes and people's names are encrypted on your own device, end to end, before they are sent to the cloud, and we cannot read them. We do not sell your data or show third-party ads.
Does it work on iPhone, iPad, Android and Apple Watch?
Yes. There is an app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. On the Apple Watch you can log an expense or income from your wrist and see what you spent and earned this month on your watch face. The web version is coming soon.
Can I manage my finances in several currencies?
Yes. You can have accounts in different currencies, each with its exchange rate, and see everything in a single view. It is handy if you travel, shop abroad or handle money in more than one country.
Is FlashBill free?
The download is free and you can start tracking your finances without paying. An optional Premium plan expands what is included: up to 20 accounts and cards, real-time cloud backup, photos on your transactions and up to 5 devices at once.
Which languages is FlashBill available in?
FlashBill is available in Spanish, English and Portuguese, both in the app and on its website.
How do I track a loan with another person?
You record the loan, whether it is money you lent or money you borrowed, and, if you want, you link the other person so it shows up in both apps with its full history of payments. You decide whether to share it, and FlashBill reminds you of pending payments.
